another post on the mysterious George Black

I've been watching the recent rebroadcast of this series on PBS (I saw it when it was originally broadcast in 1990.) I was interested in who did the voice of General Lee and started a little Googling when George Black didn't come up on IMDB. Interestingly, "George Black," who is listed in the credits as the voice of Lee, does not seem to exist as an actor, professor, or in any other reality that has any connection to this production. So, who is George Black? Anybody know? He did a great job, whoever he is.
