As I write this, The Civil War has been rated by 4,922 users, with an average score of 9.5. To be eligible for the IMDB Top 250 TV series a series needs to be rated by at least 5,000 users.

If the Civil War were to get to 5,000 ratings, based on its current score it would go into the IMDB Top 250 somewhere in the top 3. Number 3 at the moment is Breaking Bad with an average score of 9.4, while Numbers 1 and 2 are Band of Brothers and Planet Earth, respectively, with average scores of 9.5.

How do you check these stats?? But I for sure rated it a 10!

The requirements for being in the Top 250 are listed at the bottom of the page. The requirement of 5,000 votes is mentioned in the second point.

The Civil War's average score and number of votes are shown on its main page, just to the left of where you gave it a 10. Up to 4,926 now - 74 to go!

I saw this series many years ago and enjoyed it immensely, although for some reason, I never voted on it here.

Oh well, I added my vote. I gave it a rating of 10.

Now there's 4929 votes, 71 more to go.

Woohoo! 5,000 votes achieved, so The Civil War is in the Top 250, at Number 9. While the average score is 9.5, the adjusted score (adjusted for smallish sample size) is 9.2, hence the lower-than-anticipated ranking - I figured it would be 2nd or 3rd.
