'Problem at Thor Bridge' 'Lost World' mention!

Holmes exclaims during the teleplay that a mountain location in Brazil is where prehistoric beasts still roam - certainly a reference to Conan Doyle's "The Lost World"!
I don't know if the original story has such a mention, but in terms of the BBC series it ties together to separate Conan Doyle creations. Nifty!
