Does anyone know if there are any plans for a DVD release of this program? I really enjoyed it when i was younger.

nah dude youd have to download em, me bro downloaded all the first season last week...their are talks with the captian planet foundation and the creators of the show to begin a new series. discussions that kids love the new superhero movies coming out suggest that reproducin a loveable cartoon promoting recycling and earth care is a positive steps towards informing people (and child, he future leaders) of ways to help. the cartoon is apparently goin to be show as a movie that will present the gaia awaking and empowering the 5 planeteers. the movie is als planned to be followed by 2-3 seasons of captain planet, continuing where the movie left off. methinks they plan on a commercial dvd release after this for higher production sales and public interest
