The best of Super Mario Bros. cartoon shows

Out of three Super Mario Bros. cartoon shows, I think this one is the best.

Super Mario Bros. Super Show was neat and cute, and even had the live action Mario and Luigi, but wasn't particulary funny or engaging, nor did it have a clear storyline (every episode had Mario, Luigi, Princess and Toad enter a different world, some of which were parodies of "Star Wars", "RoboCop", "The Untouchables", "Indiana Jones" etc.). Personally, I have a lot of sympathies for Super Mario World, but that's just because of Yoshi. Many of the things from the previous shows were dropped (what ever happened to Toad?!) and the animation was poor.

But Super Mario Bros. 3 had some really clever moments (I love "Super Koopa" and that Milli Vanili episode), a small touch of satire and was even placed in the real world at moments. Even that one has flaws, but I guess out of all the three, this one was made right on.

I agree to a extent, I've seen this series (and Super Mario World) for so long that it is getting a little burned out to me.

It was the most accurate to the games and even had the music from the SMB3 game. There were a few that I didn't like (such as Luigi turns into a dog or the Milli Vanilli episode, since I've ONLY even seen the edited version [well saw the original ending on Youtube once on poor quality]), but most of the episodes were solid.

Just wish there weren't as many animation goofs as there are, sometimes there were like 20 in a episode all easily noticable. Oddly, the least I've seen was the Super Show so seeing it fresh and with the original music excites me.

Well, to be fair, "Super Mario World" also had the music from the video game, but I see what you're getting at. World and Bros. 3 were much more faithful to the games than the first show, "Super Mario bros Super Show", that estranged itself a lot from it. There were some episodes that seemed totally off (like Mario as Moses parting the sea of pasta, if I remember corectlly, and Koopa as the Pharaoh).

I also didn't like that episode where Luigi turns into a dog - it was stupid, but it was also nice to have him for a hero for a change, not always Mario. As said, that Super Koopa and Milli Vanilli episodes were my favorites. I liked them a lot. And I also enjoyed "Reign storm" where Princess Toadstool goes for a vacation to Hawai and there surfs with some guy to the tone of Cindy Lauper's song "Girls just Wanna Have Fun"! Fantastic!

It's sad that "World" really dropped Luigi out of the picture. He never even got the new power, the magic feather, once! Mario always got all the powers in it! Luigi got the star and that balloon only once and that was it. And it's a pity they didn't go to the real world - imagine Yoshi in Brooklyn!

the adventures of super mario bros 3
is the best Super mario bros cartoon ever made
a lot better than the super mario bros super show

Super Mario Bros 3 was one the best Mario Games ever made
and one of my all time favorite super mario games
The musics are catchy as from the mario games
mario and luigi and toad are so funny
the koopalings are funny but kootie pie was a little bit annoying
the episodes are fun
and it has fun moments and good laughs
and it's suitable for all ages
for the whole family and for kids

the super mario world cartoon was the 2nd best
super mario world was one of the best super nintendo games ever
the songs are catchy
yoshi was cute
and it has fun episodes

but there will be no more mario cartoons
after the mama luigi episode of super mario world
because the super mario world cartoon might be the 3rd and final mario cartoon

one of the great thing about super mario
is that could been played by all ages
