Worst Storylines of BH

Interesting read:

Very interesting. I definitely agree with the Emily Valentine thing. There were a million and one ways to wrap up the storyline. They didn't need to send the message that different = dangerous or crazy.

I'm surprised to see Scott's death on here. Even though it's kind of jarring, it's a classic storyline that fans still talk about a lot, and it led to a pretty moving episode, so I don't know if it can really count as "bad."

I got to #7 and then got atuck on some stupid as about a guy finding a trap door in his apartment.

But Lucinda was one of the BEST, as was Kelly and the cult. Come to think of it, so was Emily Valentine. Seeking professional help for psychological issues isn't a bad thing.

In other words, this article was a click-through piece of SEO hell/troll bait. This board could have done better!

The true worst, IMO, were:

1. Claire and David searching for alien life forms in the desert
2. Dylan's past life regression
3. Brandon meeting the girl who believed in angels
4. Brenda and Stewart anything
5. Milton Berle and Steve
6. "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window"
7. David and Claudia, the green card girl

Ooh, that's a good list! I cringe through all of those stupid storylines!

I hate these *beep* articles written by clueless authors who don't know anything or bother to do a second of research. The Heights was NOT a spin off of BH 90210 or the character of Ray-throw-Donna-down-the-stairs-Pruitt. It came out years before Jamie Walters even appeared on BH.

reply

I knew this list was definitely poo, interesting, but still poo.

I do agree with the poster who listed the stupidest ones.

I'm adding Donna Martin Graduates, as a stupid storyline.

reply

"She came through a bathroom window" was the worst. The A and B plot were completely boring.

where was a story line of rose bowl joe trying out for the nfl?

I was literally coming into this thread to post this. THank you for saving me the time lol

The worst storylines for me:

Anything with Noah in it.

reply

Also, the episode where Noah keeps playing pranks with Steve and Donna. There's the special glasses, and the green shampoo, ending with a fake dead man in a refrigerator.

And to make it worse, Donna is wearing pigtails throughout. She actually goes to the supposed widow's house to tell her that her husband is dead while wearing pigtails.

reply

SilverPony, I agree with you on any episode with NoDUH in it.

Chinchin:
Donna wore pigtails while being "seduced" by Wayne Moses and she wore them to the damn restaurant.

And nothing was as bad as her cornrows/pigtails combo that she wore while giving Dani, the jock that was pledging Alpha, a makeover. And she gave the poor girl the same hairstyle!

reply

I forgot that! Ugh....

We need to do a best of the worst storylines from each season then a have each worst storyline against each other for the absolutely worst. We can do it the way we vote out people or something like that. Its a daunting task, because of the amount of episodes, and it'll take a few weeks, but I'm sure we can come up with the best of the worst if not the best of the worst top 3.

Thoughts on this?

Katy, I agree with you. I always said that BH could've really went into certain storylines more. Maybe it was the timing of the show. But they could've went "there" with certain ones, instead of wrapping it in a "bow" so to speak.

The storyline with Chandler Bing could've easily been Scott to a degree.
Get that Douglas Emerson wanted out, but they could've come up with something.

Dylan's sister gets her period was horrible--he drives her from a public bathroom with pads in the stall. And past stores where they could have bought stuff!!

reply

for real. at least thankfully they didn't do a story-line about when cindo went through menopause.

🌴"I'm not making art, I'm making sushi." Masaharu Morimoto🌴

reply

...or they did not go into Dylan asking sis--hey do you want me to explain how to put that on....when the directions how to take adhesive off and press are right on the package!!

reply

thankfully they didn't, for baja's sake.

reply

Stupidest thing I've EVER seen is Dylan being rescued by someone who just happens to be swimming out to sea in a suicide attempt. Then, they help construct a playground at Dylan's urging, and his depression is conquered! From mid S9

reply

Here's one that I think should be on the list: The, "Valerie hates Kelly because she thinks Kelly ruined her (Val's) chances with Brandon," storyline. It doesn't make sense, given everything that Kelly actually has done to Val.

"Never mind walking a mile in my shoes. Try thinking a day in my head."

reply

Here are two more storylines that I think are horrible: Kelly's amnesia, as well as the, "Brandon cheats on Kelly," storyline.

"Never mind walking a mile in my shoes. Try thinking a day in my head."

reply

Or Kelly's instant dislike of Valerie, which seemed based on... because. There's literally no reason for her to hate her, except maybe that Val's got bigger boobies or something.
