The DVD music issue didn't bother me as a first time viewer

...but I can definitely understand how it would as a viewer of the original series.

Yeah, of course it wouldn't bother first time viewers, but for us who watched the original run things like "Losing My Religion" when Brenda breaks up with Dylan is iconic.

There's the horrible hurricanes, this freak show presidential election and tons of profoundly disturbing things happening but you saying this actually makes me sad. How unfortunate that events are warped over time and no matter how small it may seem it does affect someone or something somehow. It's only a TV show but it's the principal of it.

I miss the original music as I watched the series during its original run

I'm a DVD watcher but I saw bits and pieces of episodes on TV before. Initially it wasn't too glaring, but when I come across clips online, it really annoys me now.

I don't know where to look for the episodes with all the original music and such - whether I stream/download it or buy bootlegs. Maybe my next project will be to find it, but I wonder if the picture quality will be terrible.
