Is there anyone out there who saw this movie and and knows a bit about Star Wars? The reason I ask is because I'm pretty sure they ripped off more than a few bars of music from Star Wars during the final gun battle scene between Mark Gor and Tanaka. If you ever watch it again, listen for background music that sounds like the medal awards ceremony at the end of "Star Wars: A New Hope".
I kid you not, it goes on for at least 20s before it's tweaked slightly.
maybe, i'm not sure but you should know that this is T.Hark film and he already in the past stole some parts of the score from Dario Argento's Suspiria into his classic We're Going to Eat You, or from Romero's Dawn Of The Dead into his nihilistic violent masterpiece Don't Play With Fire.
So it'd be nothing new for him and i wouldn't also have any problem if it was true. This genius simply knows how to do that.
