Is this like Witchboard? Linea Quiggly is in this, I have it!

But I have not watched it! Is this pretty hard to find? I have it here:

Hey, Flow:

I have it as well, and I just watched it. It's very funny and very stupid. The acting is horrible, but the dialogue is inspired, and some of the special effects are decent.

And, oh yes, Linnea Quigley is in it, but let's just say she's not a natural blonde.

yep ,this movie(WITCHTRAP) is hard to find ,because it was only released on VHS back in it's hey day ,and the company that put it out (MAGNUM VIDEO) is defunked now...in fact now that DVD is here ,just about any movie on VHS is hard to find (unless you hit the thrift stores ,i allways see a ton of VHS movies at the ''GOODWILL'' stores, pawn shops ,or at ''yard sales ''

Well, that is why I am trying to sell them because they ARE rare, hard to find and out of print! I don't mind VHS anyway, I think it's a great medium. DVD's fine, but there is nothing wrong with video, IMO. Check out some of my rare ones off the link, above! !

Are laserdiscs still popular? I have 'Cliffhanger' on LD sealed (below), and was wondering if people still buy them, watch them & if LD players are still sold or can be repaired? I never got into it, must have been big in the early 90s? http://www.amazon.com/shops/AYDW214JE6WE6

A niche product for movie-lovers with an eye as well as an ear for a good audio/video experience but it lasted for a good 20 years. There are still enthusiasts but in general we like to hang on to and buy the titles that are eiher unavailable on DVD/BD, contain bonus material that hasn't been ported over to DVD or solely for the superior uncompressed audio (the latter only BD is now able to match and surpass).

If memory serves me correct the last disc to be manufactured was back in 1998 (Japan may have had a couple of titles as late as 1999, you could probably check it out on Wikipedia or LDDB.com) but they co-existed with DVD when that was first introduced. Pioneer manufactured a LD/DVD-combo for a few years but they are long gone now, even Pioneer which was the LD stronghold for years eventually stopped production of their players. One could probably still find unused LD-players that people have stocked but otherwise one is relegated to used machines. At least in the US there are those who specialise in repairing players and those who bought the more expensive, high-tech players from Japan can ship them to Pioneer in Japan for service if required.

Wow, well that was helpful...I have Cliffhanger & Dead Man Walking on LD, but no LD player! Perhaps some day I'll find one used? ;) Thanks for the info, man!
