I just watched this movie and loved it. A refreshingly absorbing and genteel movie. Does anyone know what has happened to Amelia Burnette who played Wayland's daughter Paula? What a terrific little actress right from the first scene! I checked imdb and was surprised to see nothing there past 1989, the year of this movie.

It has obviously been a while since you posted your question, but I came across it on a random whim and it was quite surprising. To my knowledge, Amelia hasn't done any more serious acting. She graduated from UNC and I believe is either still in law school or recently graduated.
