I hate Friends and never watch it, but I was in the video store recently and they had an episode on. Joey (the actor character) is in a new movie where his co-star keeps spitting on him during rehearsal...or something. And for whatever reason, the movie they are working on is clearly using the same sets as the opening of We're No Angels...is it just a coincidence of sets, or was it a parody?

Total coincidence. That movie Joey was in with the spitter, played by Gary Oldman, was set during WWI. We're No Angels, had no mention of WWI that I can recall.
