Holy Grail?

Greatly enjoyed this movie when it was originally released on VHS; showed it to my girlfriend last night as a seasonal treat. Just curious: when Redferne is fumbling around in the Mennonite's attic for the page, what's that golden chalice doing there? It's a pretty campy movie, so a ham-handed holy grail joke wouldn't surprise me. Does anyone have any info? I thought it might be mentioned on the trivia page here, but it's not.

Honestly, it probably wasn't intended as an "in-joke"
The contents of the attic, if you look around, are mostly churchly furniture. The cabinet itself, if you remeber what the Minister in Boston said, was sent from West End Church to another church. It wouldn't be unlikely to have a chalice, which is used in many church's communion services, be among the items.
