Favorite version of the three version (DL,CI or Valmont)

I made the same post in the DL message board

DL the darkest and closest to the novel

Valmont
close to the novel in period time but not so dark or tragic

CI the modernized version which became a favorite of teenagers, one of the most iconic teen flicks of the 90s
