Annette Bening bad acting

Bening was really bad in this movie. Except for the final scene where she looks pretty ashen-faced, she has basically one expression and one tone throughout: pompous, cavalier, disinterested, and bemused. I got so sick of her I cringed in her scenes.

On the other hand Fairuza Balk, Colin Firth, and pretty much everyone else, were excellent.
