No longer available. If someone out there has a DVD copy I'd be willing to buy it from them...

This movie has been the center of a unit to introduce the issue of discrimination in our middle school. I couldn't have made a better movie for this age group. The sports, two friends, Cindy and Ernie, and intolerance issues with the school community are an immediate attention grabbers and touch points for our males and females. Then you throw in the issues within the community, the family, the Klan...plus the inclusion of live footage of major events in the civil right movement during this time making it PERFECT. When I run into former students they still recall watching this and how great the impact was. One of them even sent me a copy of an article on Richie Flowers II that appeared I think in Sports Illustrated.

Originally, I was lucky enough to catch "Unconquered" on video when it was first shown. This tape at some point began showing its age. Then I began the on-line search where I suddenly realized this movie must have gone in a can and placed on a shelf nobody sees. I found a DVD on-line but I think someone made a copy of the movie by videoing it from a TV screen. I finally decided to see if you can help us at all. I don't know if CBS would care, I even considered the actors involved, and when I heard about Richie Flowers III, I wondered if he might have the family copy. Helping me locate a copy would grant you all the positive karma you would ever need.
