Why was Tia mad bout movin? she seemed to be settled in Chicago well

She obviously had friends and a boyfriend.

being a teenager in the 90's was hard. many kids were latchkey kids due to the economy. some felt that their mother's careers were more important to their mothers than the children. many of these families never really talked to their children about what was going on with the family.

hup! we're moving.
hup! mom has to go back to work.
hup! Teenagers need to get jobs or work for free at home.

and were those 'friends' and 'boyfriend' really her friends/boyfriend? Bug just saw her as an easy lay because she was cynical and quiet.

Oh God. Fortune vomits on my eiderdown once more.

Interesting point. I thought it may have had to do with the grandfather even though that was not specifically acknowledged. My kids LOVE their grandparents and that will likely never change.

You're right about Bug using Tia. And Buck saw right through him.
