woods best performance???

Id put it up there. Along with salvadore and videodrome. True believer is a solid underrated drama. Woods really carries the flick. And his mullet rox!!!

then again...i also like him in The Hard Way and Cop.

I agree--he's very good in this one and dominates every scene he's in. Poor Robert Downey--so young and baby-faced and overshadowed in a throw-away role. Love the Busload of Faith song (Lou Reed) at the end....One trivial question about Woods--was that his real hear? It sure was curly.

Dont forget "Badge of the assasin "another intense lawyer role!!

The Onion Field remains his best.

Agreed. Woods totally hits it out of the park in this film. He was likewise superb in Fast-Walking, Videodrome, Salvador, Best Seller, and Cop.

I've been chasing grace/ But grace ain't easy to find

It certainly is and it's unfortunate that it's such a sleeper. Woods would have done much better for himself if this got more recognition.
