Daredevil

Anyone agree he made a good daredevil and his portrayal was better then the crappy actual movie version of daredevil

reply

Yeah, the Daredevil comics adaptation here - with Rex Smith playing DD - keeps more of the spirit of the source material than the Daredevil motion picture from a few years ago does. This telefilm's Daredevil is far easier to root for than the morally-challenged one in the motion picture. If a Daredevil TV series had been spun off from this, that show might have worked.

I liked the Affleck Daredevil movie but I thought for years now that Rex Smith was a great Daredevil. He carried himself well for the part. I remember him telling a thug with a butterfly knife "That's a noisy little knife you have there." I thought that he pulled off Daredevil really good.

I was a huge fan of Daredevil as a little kid and I gotta say Rex Smith nailed the part. Ninja-esque costume aside, I thought he captured the flavor and spirit of the comic book character very well. More than that, he was just plain interesting. IMHO, that was Affleck's greatest failure in the movie - I really didn't give a damn one way or another about him.
