Much darker than the others

Anyone else feel that this was much darker than the series and the rather cartoonish "Incredible Hulk Returns?" The storyline, where Banner has pretty much given up on life and people, is rather bleak, not to mention the attempted sexual assualt on the subway and the fact that the Hulk, for the first time, shows he could potentially kill. I liked it, but it was so far removed from the prequal and the earlier series don't you think?

I agree but there was a couple of episodes in the series that were pretty dark like the one were David Banner meet that old guy who was a Hulk as well , that episode was creepy. I personally liked that tv film way better then the one with Thor who was just ridiculous.

Yeah that's one of my favorite episodes. It had a very sad part in it which led to the final Hulk-Out of that episode.

Yup, Thor was very silly. What were they thinking? As far as I know, nothing magical happened in the TV series. They should have left Thor out of it.

There was a magician episode...

As for dark episodes there was the one where Banner took some concoction that turned him evil and when he "hulked out" the Hulk was evil.

I vaguely remember that episode. Wasn't he renting out a room in someone's house & Banner is hitting on the daughter?

Yes, it was called Dark Side.

David was working on a cure, but the experiment affected his brain and unleashed his full darker side, thus turning him evil temporarily and goes back and forth. The experiment pretty much gives him a split personality.
