I just came here to say the exact same thing, it's the first time i've seen this film and although it was enjoyable and funny it was obviously cut. I saw an uncut version of the wheelchair death on youtube and it was WAY gorier and better than the dvd version in the new 7 disc 'complete toxic avenger' boxset. This kinda sucks, I wonder why they would do that? (how can they call it 'complete' toxic avenger if part 2 is INCOMPLETE) Don't they know that people would much rather have the uncut and if they put all the other movies in the set uncut why not part 2 aswell? It's nuts. Maybe a mistake? Is it possible to buy the uncut part 2 on a seperate dvd? I heard that it's only available in the tox box which is pretty rare/expensive.

Well I emailed the troma store (not sure if that's the right place to contact) asking them about this a couple of days ago, no reply yet, I won't hold my breath for one.

I also emailed a couple addresses and still no reply. I might end up calling them in a bit if I don't get a reply. I think they should replace the discs because it's like false advertising. Not only should they replace the disc, but it should be the unrated directors cut out of the Tox Box so its the complete version. Anybody know if the citizen toxie dvd is the uncut one or the R-rated one also. On the front of the discs: Toxie one says directors cut, toxie 2 obviously doesn't, toxie 3 says directors cut, and citizen toxie also doesn't say directors cut, so just wondering if we got double screwed.

I'm pretty sure the citizen toxie discs are uncut, I have both the R rated double disc and unrated double disc of citixen toxie and on the R rated it has 'R RATED' stamped across the discs covering julie strains puppies. It is false advertising and it's unexcusable, I really can't understand why they would include the heavily cut version of part 2 in the new set other than it being a mistake. Hopefully troma will say somthing and let fans know why this has happened, if they have included it thinking it is the best version they would be incredibly wrong.

I actually contacted Troma a few years back to ask if the standalone release was now the actual uncut version like the Tox Box. They assured me that both versions were the same which was complete nonsense. They probably don't even know the difference. I did try calling and I got a message to email them. It was after 6:00 so perhaps if someone tries during business hours, they will have more luck. I doubt it knowing Troma.

They should know that the directors cut of part 2 is not the same as the directors cut in the Tox Box. to be the "COMPLETE" Toxic Avenger, it needed this disc from the tox box, thats all there is too it. otherwise this is just the almost complete toxic avenger, which is crap.

I just got hold of the Tox Box and it has the full part 2 and it's so much better. I would maybe even go as far as saying it is a more enjoyable film than the first, well...i dunno.

Hold on, I think most troma dvd's are awesome. They usually are packed with extras and always have a great intro by LK. Ok some of the extra's are repeated across discs such as 'tour of troma' etc etc but mot of the extras are actually enjoyable to watch unlike alot of crap you get on most dvd's. Them releasing the incomplete version of TA Part 2 is a different story, they really made a mistake and I think they don't even realise it.
