WOW!

I saw the first one in a movie theater on The Deuce years ago and rolled with it. I've seen many of Troma's features on The Deuce over the years and have to say they were okay. But, I have to say, I am so glad I had decided to skip this one when it had been released.

What's really interesting is in the year 1989, The Deuce was slowly being phased out and replaced with more upscale businesses and renovated theaters. Movies like "The Toxic Avenger" franchise were not being shown anymore. It seems that independent releases like those done by Troma were losing their edge, right in tempo with the closing done of the grind houses. "The Toxic Avenger, Part III" is a perfect example of that lost edge.
