Seriously, if u didnt cry at the end I hope u watch the Green Mile to spare ur soul. Having sed that, its impressive that an anime can be that moving. so any thorts on that? is ther any other anime thats moving too?

I don't cry over fiction stuff. However Gunbuster was one of the most beautiful, emotionally powerful, and heart tugging animes I have ever seen. The voice work of the Japanese actors was just so absolutely fabulous and the animation was so stunning, you can almost imagine these were actual people in real situations. Gunbuster was one of the greatest masterpieces in anime, a true classic in every sense of the word, one that put Studio Gainax on the map. Gunbuster completely delivered in terms of story, dialogue, characterization, musical score, production design, and animation. A truly incredible experience...

Gunbuster IS my all time favourite Manga. Words cannot describe how much this one means to me,I just love it.

Yes, I admit it. I get all choked up at the end of Gunbuster. Macross gets me close at a couple of points, but only the end of Gunbuster has actually made me cry (just a bit, though:).
I feel its really an outstanding piece of anime, in general.
Check out some of the Ghibli movies from Hayao Mayazaki, they with make you cry with joy. The animation is so so beautiful yours eyes will have an orgasm. Gunbuster didn't make me cry, but it is one of my favourite animes and the Robot is my fav mecha ever. Classic must see anime.

The end of Gunbuster made me cry a little but only because it was so beautiful after all that doubt and anxiety. As for other animes, I know that some of the girlier anime shows like Fruits Basket an even Azumanga Daioh (if you can believe it). Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie got me a little choked up and so did Chrono Crusade. Parts of Cowboy Bebop were very emotional too, especially Ed's leaving.
