Has anyone else seen this?

I remember renting it out as a child, and spent the whole time laughing at it. It's still the benchmark in my head by which all terrible movies are judged, in my 26 years I still haven't seen a worse film.

The silence it's met with here suggests I'm one of a select few that has seen it... No-one else?

I went to see it at the theater. I loved it. I didn't care about sets or costumes. I just loved the story. It made me smile. One of the things I liked was it was not played for laughs. Laugh at me if you wish. It is romantic and just this side of plausible. :)

Yup...I actually bought the VHS on ebay because I remembered seeing it several times on cable when I was younger. Not the best movie, but for some reason I enjoyed it for all it's cheesiness.

I have to agree with the other two. Despite all else, I found it cute and actually would like to get it on DVD (which will never happen . . .).

Yes, I have seen this movie and actually own it on VHS. It is a classic corny bad B-movie. The plot was actually decent but the sets, acting, costumes, etc were so horrendously bad that it made this movie unintentionally hilarious. I love bad B-movies...much more entertaining than most of the comedy put out today :D

Well it may be no Back to the Future, but it's a good time travel flick.

I liked Ned Betty's role.He was funny as a cop! LOL

I, too, searched it out in VHS form on eBay. I check in here every few years to see if it has been issued in DVD format yet. It is cheap and cheesy and silly and yet for some reason I love it. I don't even have the excuse of having loved it as a child.

When it came out in 1989, I was going through a hard divorce. This movie gave me a much needed respite from all the _________ I was having to deal with. I watched it again this afternoon. One of my children found a sale copy at a video store and bought it for me a few years ago.

Movies like this you keep in that ONE box of VHS tapes that you don't want to get rid of.

I agree. I don't even have a VCR hooked up anymore, but hang on to this movie. I wish they would put it on DVD or Blu-Ray. I tried a few years ago to record it onto DVD with my DVD recorder, but it has copy protection. :(

Has anyone else seen this?

When I was 7 or 8 years old in 1991 I saw Time Trackers one Sunday morning about 6:00 AM on The Family Channel -- precursor to Fox Family Channel and later ABC Family.

It made an impression on me 'cause I've never forgotten it. Plus, being that young I didn't notice how bad the effects were, or how cheesy the story was.

reply

Yep I remeber it coming out in theaters.
