15% on Rotten Tomatoes is unacceptable!

This movie is really good! It's funny and sweet and has Martin Short, what more do you want? I've always liked this movie. Not sure why it never got more attention or why it has such a low score on here and on RT.

Three Fugitives is on my list of movies I could watch over and over again for the rest of my life and never get bored of. It's just a good story.

I like Martin Short but I'd never heard of this movie. I just started watching it on Netflix and the first thing I noticed is that it's not a well-crafted comedy.

It's not god-awful, but it lacks any sense of urgency. There are some funny moments but really only from Martin Short. And there's a lot of quiet moments where they're walking or some other establishing scene is going on, which is unusual for a comedy.

It has aged pretty badly, lol the music especially is awful, but otherwise a halfway solid comedy. Short and Nolte are both great actors. JEJ is funny in this also.

Yeah I don't get it either. It remains one of my favorite comedies. It has a lot of heart and there's good chemistry between Nolte and Short. The little girl is also adorable. The only parts I don't really find funny are the veterinarian thinking Lucas was a dog and then him explaining it to the police. Keep in mind its not supposed to all be funny either though. There are some heartfelt moments.

I love this movie. I know its very soft and sentimental when it comes to the kid, but I love the interaction between Noltes gruff criminal and Shorts naive father.

And I love the score, especially the main theme. Great breathy synth sound on tge main theme. I can play it on my synth...sort of.
