What was wrong with his behavior. Through out this whole film. Most of the discussions were about Monk's erratic I guess behavior. But what no one discussed or was cut out of the film what was the problems. Like explain in deep detail events that happened. It was mentioned many times but we were left out of what went on with him.

It's true, this movie doesn't discuss how he was looking for a restroom once, and ended up just standing still in a the lobby until he was arrested. In the end of his life, he hardly left his room or even talked, his main activity consisted of watching tv. Yeah, that's a weak aspect of this otherwise marvelous documentary. After all, they did show his trance-like dances that even occurred in public, and how his mind sometimes would just shut off for moments during conversations, practice sessions, and everywhere else.
