Polly was such a jealous bitch

I could not stand her.

Well tell us how you really feel.

You are totally right. Pauly was a HUGE loser. I've said it before, I'll say it again. A real TRASH act, not a class act. What does she expect? Where does she think she's going in life dressing like a gnome with toilet shoes? And the frosting on the trash is her fried as hell perm. She can't be surprized that louise wants nothing to do with her, and that Rex wouldn't touch her with a ten foot poll. Someone needs to either set her straight, or set her on fire.

reply

Shallow much? Going by your mentality, I'd imaging you're probably still in high school. If that's the case, I pity anyone who crosses your path - popular or unpopular.

reply

PUUUUULEASSSSEEEE, I am 56 years old, and I tell my kids every day they either leave the house presentable, or they stay locked in the basement. Maybe if Polly's mother had done the same, she'd have some friends, or at least a boyfriend.

reply

How superficial of you. It is a shame that it will be too late to when you finally realize the error of your ways as you die cold and alone.

reply

Well......I'm not cold and alone, but ok.

reply

lol I love it

TWO SNAPS AND IT IS OVER GIRLFRIEND! *SNAP* *SNAP*

When I was a kid and watched this movie, I thought Polly was annoying as well. With age, I realized she's not some much annoying as a normal teenage girl who got hurt by her best friend. Yeah, it was great that Louise got popular but she did leave Polly behind which is hurtful to just about anyone.

You're supposedly 56 years old and you talk and think like this? Wow...just wow.

reply

I think Polly acts completely understandable. She is upset because she has lost her best friend! I don't think Polly is upset because suddenly Louise is really popular, but it is because she appears to have changed to Polly. She no longer hangs out with her, etc. That is a human emotion and it is okay for Polly to be jealous and upset.

Also that 56 year old totally missed the basis of the damn movie! In the end Louise gives up being a witch because she was just being "fake" to gain all those friends. She would rather be true to herself and see what happens. Although she also gained confidence from the experience and took more risks in her appearance. But the experience gave her the opportunity to get to know that guy who ended up liking her for her personality and because she was different to the other popular people. Also, a friend like Polly is probably 100x better than having 50 friends who are only friends with you for image. A true friend is hard to come by and many people realize this the hard way when they lose someone who was actually there for them.

You're all wrong and must have been "Polly's in high school. She was a loser, end of story.

reply

By definition, an opinion cannot be wrong. Even a child knows that. How have you not grasp that concept at your advanced aged?

Judging by your insistence that this fictional character (seriously, this girl isn't real) is a loser because you say so, I reckon that you were a loser back when you attended high school in the 1930s, never got past your loserdom and have restored to talking smack to people on the internet because your multitude of cats no longer listen to your rantings about Teen Witch.

In the interest of positive mental health, I suggest you spend your twilight years doing something more constructive like cleaning out your kitty cats' litter boxes or mall walking.

DivingInTheBlue, you describe Polly PERFECTLY!

The thing is is that Louise was basically just like Polly and she needed magic, not to change herself, but to change everyone else's minds about her. It's not like Louise did anything different. It's not as if Polly could take a trip to the mall to get new clothes and suddenly everyone would like her, she would need magic as well to change everyone's minds regardless.

Louise was the one that got popular and forgot about Polly. They were best friends and Polly wanted to hangout with her, what's so wrong with that?

Anyone's crazy if they think that clothes and looking good is what gets you what you want in life. There are some pretty unattractive people walking around that are married, happy and procreating. Success doesn't come in one package and it doesn't have one definition.

Eh, I don't know if I'd use such strong language but yeah I think she could have handled it a bit better.

Am I the only one who thought it was weird that Polly is Louise's best friend, but she doesn't know about Louise being a witch?
