shareI bought the DVD for my husband from a World War 2 magazine. It's dubbed in English. According to my husbands it puts all other WW2 movies to shame, including SPR.

Umm.. maybe because there's no market for foreign films from the 80s..? :)
shareThe DVD was cut and released by a small outfit called "Belle & Blade" that specializes in reissuing the more obscure and foreign war films and documentaries. It was not remastered as far as I know, but just tranferred straight over. Nordisk Film still owns the rights AFAIK. To get a broader release they'd have to get it to a DVD studio to be cleaned up and remastered and a major DVD distributor would need to be willing to take a gamble on it.
