I watched this days ago, how fun !
Well it could have been done better with some more creepy style or some more funny ideas and a more subtle touch but it's still a very fun moment !

I miss the 90's !!!
It is fun. I'd only seen it once on HBO back in the early 1990s when it didn't even get much play on cable. Despite only viewing it once, it stuck in my mind. It is so funny and original with its various plot twists against the stock Dracula story.
So many great touches, the John Ireland vampire bat with the beard, the crowds uniformly turning away from the sun as if it is one organic mass, the posters for the standard drinks. I could go on and on.
David Carradine light, dry touch is perfect as is Bruce Campbell's van Helsing.
Just recently saw it on DVD from Netflix. The DVD is so superb that I've ordered my own copy.
