Funniest Scene

I need this movie on dvd! There's a great scene where the head of the resort pulls the cover off a platter and underneath is a rubber chicken. One of the guests faints, and the resort manager screams, "What the hell!" as he crushes a banana in his hand. Something about the way he screams makes me double over in laughter. Not to mention the final scene was very important to me in my teenage years if you (ahem!) know what I mean.

the whole movie is awsome. When the exclusive chick gets kicked out of the summer job. How the nerd is actually the coolest of the bunch. Then theres the fat guy who buffs it up and gets a personal trainer who wears tiger stripe imprint speedos.

then the geaorgeous sherri rose when she gets off the motorcycle and you think its a guy until she takes her helment off. The movie is fun. it's just pure fun.

I agree with you there vindicator19 that this film is a lot of fun to watch all right!

you're wrong..funniest scene is the couple dining by moonlight on the beach.
She order crab, they don't have crab, she wines "But I want crab", her boyfriend coos "I'll give you crabs."
awesome.

Yes that is awesome all right! I have not seen this movie in years! I am going to have to get me a used copy on VHS to watch. The last time I saw this was when USA UP ALL NIGHT use to air this on the weekends late at night and when I rented it back in the 90's from Blockbuster when they use to rent out VHS tapes. It is definitely a classic film to watch with great comedy too.

I remember seeing this movie on USA up all night. If I remember correctly, isn't there a scene where a man gets pantsed by having his jogging pants string pulled? I belive he was a pair of bikinis as well. I love 80s-early 90s when all men wore was bikinis. So hot. This is not on dvd yet? Why not.

I also remember seeing this on USA UP ALL NIGHT! It was a great movie to watch and I eventually went to the local Blockbuster and they had this movie on the shelf so I rented the movie and loved it!

This was a awesome movie! They do not make movies like this anymore. I wish they still had USA UP ALL NIGHT on again on the weekends.

Too bad USA was edited for content.
They did show some good movies though, I'd watch the show then I'd have to go and try to rent the movie so I could see the whole thing.

I know what you mean about USA editing certain parts of the movie because it was shown on cable TV. I have rented this movie before back home from Decatur, Illinois from a Blockbuster Video back before the video stores switched from VHS to DVD's now.

I loved this movie when I first saw it on USA UP ALL NIGHT! I liked watching it on VHS when I rented it. That is what I have had to do with some of the movies that I can buy but then there are others that they never put on VHS or DVD at all.

Yes it is a shame that USA Network would edit out the good parts of the film. As would I also would have to rent at the local video store if I stumbled upon the movie there. Video stores are getting scarce anymore. Where I live all we have is one Blockbuster and 3 Family Video Stores. All of the mom and pop video stores closed down due to the big chain video stores moving into town. Just a couple of years ago the local Hollywood Video closed down. Now there are locations to rent DVD's from a Red Box or even a Blockbuster Box if you can fine one.

A friend and I have big plans in eventually creating a B MOVIE NETWORK and I still would like to get into the film industry so, I just might have the money to create the very first B MOVIE NETWORK that shows films like what USA UP ALL NIGHT use to show with horror films, and all sorts of other good stuff to watch!

Oh and by the way Rhonda Shear is creating her own network which you would have to guy a ROKU Box to watch it. It will be her own version of USA UP ALL NIGHT since she owns the rights to it. You can come check out the information on my website that is dedicated to USA UP ALL NIGHT and the fans. It has video trailers from all the movies shown on USA UP ALL NIGHT. I have not been able to locate all of the movies because some of them are not on Youtube for me to be able to add to my website. I just wanted to let you know about this guy.

I know what you mean! This should definitely be out on DVD already! It has been now 23 years since this movie came out and when it did they only came out on VHS. I also remember watching this on USA UP ALL NIGHT back during the 90's. I am trying to get this sort of entertainment back on TV once again instead of the crime and drama shows that is so saturated on every freaking network along with reality shows as well! You will love my website guy that is dedicated to USA UP ALL NIGHT and the fans of the show as well because it has tons of stuff that will bring back some of the great memories of how USA Network should still be ran today instead of how screwed up NBC messed up a great network.

This is not out on DVD. I had to buy a copy of it off of ebay and buy a VCR to watch it. Summer Job, spring fever USA(aka Lauderdale), and Gimme an "F", were staples in my late teen years.

I remember the movie not being all that good, but there were some good things in it. I liked that cheesy, but catchy song, during the sex on the beach montage.

One of the funniest scenes, was when the manager had the staff lined up, yelling at them, and firing some of them. I think the manager is a pretty good actor.

I love cheesy movies like this! I use to watch a lot of them on USA UP ALL NIGHT along with my fix of horror movies also.

What was up with that one dude and the frog in the blender? I always thought that was kinda weird..

reply

That is weird all right. It has been a while since I have watched the movie, but I think he was experimenting though.

Yes it is sad that it is not out on DVD. You have to keep hope that some company like SHOUT, Deluxe Video, or someone like that will buy the rights to be able to get it out on DVD. A lot of the films that I use to watch on USA UP ALL NIGHT I have had to buy the VHS version of it because they do not have it out on DVD. See a lot of the film companies that created these movies are more than likely no longer around now and that is why they have not gone out onto DVD quite yet.

I am trying to get major networks to get rid of some of the programming that they have like the CSI, Law and Order, NCIS, or any other crime and drama shows to leave like a 2 to a 4 hour window for a late at night programming on a Friday and Saturday night like USA Network use to do to show films like this. They could even mix it into their weekly and daily programming as well because it would be nice to have a bit of a break to watch some great films like this once again.
