For the scenes that are in French language. At least the plot would have been a lot more clearer.

The movie was made predominantly for the European (or more specifically French) market. That's why it has a French dub and no English subtitles. The English version of the movie was clearly an afterthought. However, the parts that are in French are not essential to the plot.
