What is this movie about anyway?

There is not much discussion here ... as a matter of fact I have the first
post, and I'm wondering if it is worth wondering what this movie is supposed
to be about.

After setting us for disappointment this movie proceeds to carry right through
on it ... but I wondered ... was there something I missed or did not get, or what
this just "plotless"?

I know I'm 7 years late here, but the movie is about an American doctor living in London whose life takes a turn when her much younger sister and a mysterious businessman enter her life. It is a very good movie in my personal opinion.
