I totally noticed that. And to be honest, it creeped me out way more than if she hadn't. It's bad when a mistake in a thriller / horror movie is scarier than the actual scary scenes.
This movie was a terrible missed opportunity. I agree with other users: great performance by Terry O'Quinn, but a boring script and lazy direction compared to the first part. Also, Meg Foster was terribly mis-cast in this role, and Brandis was wasted.
