Why was Jerry/Gene so angry after the session?

After he acts distracted at one of the therapy sessions, we see him banging away with a hammer & yelling about something in his garage.
What was he so cross about?

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
