Favorite Mini scenes?

I love when Clairee and Ouzier were at the grocery store buying groceries for Drum & family. I don't know why. Ive always felt good watching that scene and the pork n beans is hilarious I use that line all the time.

I also loved the night before the surgery when the family was laughing around the table. Shelby in her pj's. It reminds me of when I stay at my Mom's and we laugh and I feel like a kid again

What are yours?

I like when Annelle is all frazzled, running late for church, needing to take her beans to M'Lynn's, dropping her spoon... Truly tells her, "Cool down! I'm gonna have to turn the hose on you." That cracks me up.

Another favorite scene is at the end, when Sammy gets on the back of the motorcycle with his Easter Bunny head all backwards. So funny.

Any Drum and Ouiser scene but especially the one in the carport with the cake. "Thanks, Ouiser, nothing like a good piece of a$$!"

Truvy and Clairee talking at the reception about the woman in an expensive dress with no girdle. "Looks like two pigs fighting under a blanket" "well I haven't left the house without Lycra in these thighs since I was fourteen" " you were brought up right!" Love it!

Anelle and Sammy arguing about the beer in her Frigidaire.

The whole graveside scene with all five women, especially when Clairee grabs Ouiser and says to M'Lynn, "here, hit this!" To break up the tension.

It's a wonderful movie, I still love it after all this time.

There is a deleted scene where Ouiser asks the minister to make sure Drum Eatenton goes to hell. Incidentally the minister is played by Robert Harling, author of the play and brother of the real Shelby.
