Sure, it made for a good laugh, but why exactly did Ousier shut the trunk door on the eggs? It wasn’t even her car.

she also must have turned on the truck mixer or compactor too because those eggs were crazily tore up afterwards HAHA

And how were they going to close it anyway? They were piled up way too high!
But it is a great moment.

To the OP, it was just a reaction from the dog getting loose, she didn't do it on purpose.

I thought the same thing! No way all those eggs were going into that trunk. There were too many of them.

Keep calm and look at the flowers.

She saw the dog running off and panicked. I would too if I saw my dog running towards the street.

I know right? I think they robbed the egg farm LOL! They just kept on bringing eggs out and I was wondering how they were going to get them wherever they were going with the trunk open and them not falling out everywhere as high as Annelle kept on stacking them LOL!

Also, about the timeline why did they make the eggs so early anyway before Easter Sunday when they obviously were going to use them as Shelby went to the hospital and died and then there was the funeral, etc so it had to have been many days in between right. I missed part of it between smashing the eggs and the funeral but still.

OMG are you serious? Can it be that you don't realize how much time passed between Shelby's wedding and the Easter scene at the end? Admittedly there have been posts about the timeline not matching up but it was at least two and a half years. Robert Harling said that the play covered the last three years of his sister's life.

Shelby gets married in April.
She announces her pregnancy in December of that same year.
Her son is born the following July.
Two years later they are celebrating his birthday.
A few days after the party, she has a kidney transplant and receives one of her mother's kidneys.
In October of that year, on Halloween, Shelby's body rejects the kidney and she dies.
The last scene is at Easter of the following year.

Do the math if you're capable.

I missed half of the movie! YIKES!

I thought it all happened within like a week or something. (Do the math if you're capable)

Have to watch again LOL!
