Drum was fun and high-spirited and devilishly funny. M'Lynn was stern and serious and scoldy.
Truvy was bubbly and sweet and energetic. Spud was sour and sad and grumbly.
I think Drum and Truvy would've been a better match - and had a blast together!
Aw, I think Drum and M'Lynn balance each other out nicely. I think too Truvy prefers more of a "rugged" man.
shareOpposites attract. Also, Spud was probably not always like that. Depression can come and go. I think Shelby dying helped to make him realize that life was too short and that you can't take your loved ones for granted.
