Goof?
If this movie is "Cannonball Run 3", then how can John Candy watch "Cannonball Run" in his valet booth in the beginning?

Its just for humor, I mean if you watch Dukes of Hazzard there are alot of things that make no sense, I mean how can a dusty '69 Charger go over 13ft in the air and drive back without any dents and is about as shiny and clean as one that came out of a car wash? And this is just the series.

shareJust humor like in the scene where Brooke Shields says, that she does'nt wanna spend the rest of her life on bitparts in movies. ;-)
shareHow is that a goof, it's an in joke.
Kind of like Burt in the first film trying to decide what car to use and says "A black Trans-Am...nah, it's been done."
Is that a "goof" cos Burt is referencing another film he starred in by the same writer/director?
Even more so a "goof" is done by accident, unintentional.
Somehow I don't think the footage of the first film appeared in this film by "accident".
Quite obvious it was an in joke.
"And so, God came forth and proclaimed widescreen is the best"
