I saw this film the other day, i liked it alot and i highly recomend it.

Great movie, Kitano is the man.
The scene on the rooftop was incredible and the ending was awesome.
Plenty of engrossing Kitano violence and tragedy.

My only complaint is that the tokyo bullet, R2 release has rubbish subtitles which dont translate everything the characters are saying. This is annoying as you get these long stretches of dialogue, but with no bloody subtitles! Still an excellent film though, when the subs kick in!

i hated it. the acting was terrible. the storyline was stupid. and the soundtrack was the worst of all.

I definitely liked it and enjoyed it. Kitano is awesome

Yeah I agree, it's a good film. A little slow and uncomfortably quirky at the beginning (I'm new to this type of film and director, although I guessing by this message board that the director has a cult following), I thought the movie delivered the goods.
