Not a marvel of modern moviemaking by any means but not as bad as some suggest either. Great fun for fans of Mark Hamill or those who enjoy Bill Paxton's 80's schtick. The scenery and the ruins/cliff dwelling locations they filmed at makes for a nice backdrop and you just can't go wrong with Elmer Bernstein scoring...
