I'm also a fan of the film! I'm a Music Appreciation teacher at a high school in Virginia Beach. I showed the film to my class as part of our unit on Music and Dance. The kids were very receptive to it! They liked Patti LaBelle's performance a lot, and enjoyed the dancing and the music throughout. Even one student who's mainly into heavy metal really dug it!

Hey guys! Do you know where I could find the Sing soundtrack. Seems like no music store in the world has it. I can't even find the traks separately. Michael Bolton's library doesn't even have the One More Time song :((((( HELP!!

Hello, gosh I can't believe it. Other people who have heard of this film! I saw the film in an (empty) cinema way back in 1989 when I was a nipper and loved it. As an adult I can now see the film's ..ahem.. flaws but it still holds a place in my heart. I got hold of the video a few years ago (which is a 15 btw, however I saw in when I was about 11 years old. Maybe they took the word *beep* out for the cinema release) and really want to get hold of the soundtrack, in particular the "Life Ain't Worth Living When You're Dead" track as this has talking bits over it in the film. Can you help?

That's great lomovsky! I honestly didn't think people were fans of it. My sister bought the video of it way back in the early 90's from our local video shop 'cos noone else would rent it out only us, so the videoshop owner decided to give it to us altogether! So thats my story! I love this film!

dkolossov, you could always try some of the P2P software which is pretty good for finding out of print stuff.

It would have been nice if the soundtrack had the cast version of One More Time but I guess the powers that be thought otherwise

Reminded me when I tried the same method to record a nice music from a movie. I was recording it with my sister and kept laughing during recording..and when we hear it back,I laughed even more and bumped my face on the floor and chipped off part of my front tooth!!! hahahah

I know the question is old but I'll answer it anyway. The guy who sings 'One More Time' in the film is Gene Miller. The studio never released his version. They went with Michael Bolton to make money. That happens a lot. You can only hear his version in the film.

Does anyone have a copy of the soundtrack on a CD? I've got the video and a tape of the soundtract, but I really want a CD so I can put it on my iPod.

Well i'll be damned. Im probably the youngest Sing fan here(at 22), simply because my brother had a time code version of the movie and i watched the hell out of it when i was like 7. So i thought it wouldnt even turn up on this site. How wrong i was! Anyways, just wanted to say hi, and i'll defnitely check out the website
