Is this the movie where...(possible spoilers)

Ok - so I am looking for a film I saw when I was a kid and I think this might be it? There is only this one (meaningless?) scene I remember:

A boat (like a wooden Vikingboat) makes its way through foggy and damp waters. Its almost like a cave (?) - in either way, its very dark. A guy fights a white-haired witch-thing (?) with what I THINK is a sword like the one Sinbad has.

Is this scene, or anything like it in this film? I think the guy kills the witch-thing in this scene (or in the end of the film at least).

What about Sinbad blowing up a hot air balloon with his breath?

There's a fight scene in the movie that may describe what you're talking about. Early on in the film, our heroes encounter a horde of white/gray ghost things wielding scythes or spears or something. Sinbad & co. kick their asses, needless to say; and the leader of the bad guys is a white-robed specter. At the end of the battle, Sinbad pulls out its heart and smashes it in his fist.
