No More Mr. Nice Guy Quote

I remember watching this movie when it first came out in 1989, and I used to always watch the Megadeth video for the song "No More Mr. Nice Guy". I remember at the start of the video, the guy asks Pinker if he has any last words just before he's about to be fried he answers "yea...no more mr nice guy"...I thought this was also in the movie but I just watched it on Movie Express which is an un-edited movie channel and he didn't say it. He only said the line when he was coming through the door later on in the movie. Is that how it always was or am i remembering it wrong?

That wasn't Megadeth.

Yes, it was "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Megadeth. It was a cover of the Alice Cooper song, however, the Megadeth version was used in the movie.

Yeah, it's only in the trailer. They obviously shot the scene where he says that, but it was one of the many scenes cut from the final version. Supposably a LOT of footage got cut from the final movie(so I heard), especially a lot of gore. It would be cool to see an uncut version, or all the deleted scenes, though it looks doubtful we'll ever get a DVD like that.

It was Megadeath. Covering the Alice Cooper song.

No, you didn't even read the original message. There's a scene where PINKER says, "No more Mr. Niceguy!". It's not the song that's heard, it's Pinker himself. It's one of the scenes(many scenes, from what I hear) that was cut from the final version of the movie.

Everybody and their mothers are aware that it's a reference to Alice Cooper's song, and Megadeath covered the song for the soundtrack.

i was not responding to the original message. i was responding to further posts wherin the version of the song used was questioned.

Well with special editions of both Last House on the Left and My Bloody Valentine coming out, we may have some hope for an uncut version. The releases coincided with their respective remakes and since supposedly there is a remake in the works for this movie, we can cross our fingers and hope that a special edition or uncut version gets released on DVD along with it.
