Sure they didn't like Hudson Hawk, but even THAT flop didn't make either of them consider quitting their career of film reviewing! O_O

The fact that Gene and Roger have such passion for their jobs is admirable, and putting this film in the context of their lives is an interesting touch. While I agree with their assessment of this film, I found it entertaining – though not nearly as entertaining as Gene and Roger's review!
shareSiskel and Ebert considered She's Out of Control(1989) as one of the Worst Movies of 1989! The film is decent. Monster A Go Go(1965), Manos The Hands of Fate(1966), Wavelength(1967), Bat P(Word), The Wild World of Batwoman(1966), En Las Garras De La Muerte(1996), Not Scared to Die(1973), and Atom Age Vampire(1962) are worse than this film!
shareYes, those are all horrible films (though horribly entertaining, I might add), and way worse than this one. I like hearing what critics have to say, and it's no surprise that Siskel & Ebert didn't like this, but I still didn't mind it.

I can understand not liking it, but I don't really get the really harsh reviews.
I actually think it's pretty fun. Wallace Shawn is great as the shrink. I also like the weird, almost Twilight Zone-like vibe, the movie has at times.
