Best GW & RP's best movie

I personally think this was Gene Wilder's and Richard Pryor's best movie together.

I agree 100%. I could not stop laughing at scene after hilarious scene.

I'm sorry, did you want an argument? Definitely a great movie

Yeah, I love this movie. I think it's even better than Stir Crazy.

Rocky VI must happen! Sean Penn said so!

Everyone I speak to seems to love this movie and why wouldn't they? And usually on the IMDB boards, people like to come and annoy all of the fans of the movie by saying how crap it is, but I haven't seen anything like that here. My conclusion (well, my very un-educated guess, anyway) is that everyone who sees this film, loves it!

wow, there are only positive comments on this board, i didn't realise this movie got so much love, just as a personal experience the people i watched this with had alot of fun, and as i was a young kid i kept renting it like no other flick, this was before everything became more accessible, i actually got more hooked on this than all the other pryor/wilder movies, they are referred to so often as a movie pair it feels strange they actually only were in four movies together (though they both contributed to "blazing saddles"), the first one of them not even starring roles in, right, pryor's role shows up late if i remember correctly, and the last one is fairly unknown and put down by critics, shot very close together with this, in my country they even have similar titles, implying it's a sequel even though they've got nothing to do with each other, same phenomena with hogan's suburban commando and mr. nanny, so it looks funny to me when people on this board talk about a sequel because i can't get passed thinking of their following movie as a sequel since i grew up with them having basically the same title in my language (sort of like "see no evil, hear no evil... again."). pryor's disease halted any further starring roles, he only appeared in cameos like lost highway and the norm show, many have picked up on his illness being visible in pryor/wilder's last movie together. this is a very innocent sweet comedy, even though it clearly contains alot of words not suitable for a young audience. pryor is alot of fun throwing punches, it must be much more difficult playing blind than deaf. but this is remarkable, i can't recall ever seeing a packed board with not a single negative topic comment on, surreal. how about that.
