Speech Problem and ASL

If the deaf guy really was deaf how come he didn't have any kind speech impairment, people learn to talk by hearing other people do it, and if you can't hear them, how the hell are you gonna talk properly? Also why didn't he learn sign language or anything?

Well,if you would have payed attention he stated that he wasn't deaf his whole life.

I've been deaf for over two years and (apparently) still speak the queens english! As for sign language i've never learned it so why should he? Its pretty pointless if like me you don't know anyone else who is deaf or knows sign language.
