Did anyone think that Jennifer Tilly could play the role of Helen Cruger? Personally, I love Ellen Barkin, I think she's hot as hell and freaky hot in here, but, you could say the same for Jennifer Tilly, seeing her in Bound, does anyone think that she could've off Ellen Barkin's role in here or if you couldn't get Ellen for this role, who would you have gotten?

Hot as Jennifer Tilly is, she isn't as sultry as Ellen Barkin. I just don't see her as having the same intense, smoldering, passion as Barkin. Her voice really takes away from her sensuality. Do you think Kathleen Turner would be considered such a sex symbol if she had Jennifer Tilly's voice? I think Ellen Barkin is the whole package, looks, body, and voice. For this role anyway.

It would have ruined the movie. It might just be her voice, but she comes off as a lot dumber and more immature on screen. Ellen Barkin comes off as strong smart and sultry.....she was the only woman that could have played this movie as well as she did. The part was perfect for her.
