Did anyone else find this film a little sexy? :)

O.K. you can call me weird, but I found scenes of this movie to be really hot! And a little realistic looking to boot, especially the Unrated version!

Joanne Whalley and Bridget Fonda have never looked more beautiful.

What are everyone's favorite scenes from this film?

Personally, I find it much more sexy when things are suggested rather than made very obvious - right in our faces. However, I really like this film, I think the main characters did a really good job, and I agree with you that Joanne Whalley and Bridget Fonda looked beautiful.

My favourite scene is probably the one in which Mandy is served champagne by the masochist, who has a sign around his neck saying you should punish him if you aren't satisfied by his services. Mandy drinks some of the champagne and then complains it isn't cold enough, and then she lashes out towards his crotch with the rose she was holding. That really made me laugh!

I also enjoyed the scene you described, XenaUK. I'd like to add that (real life) Mandy Rice Davis gave people what they wanted. It wasn't a question whether or not the champagne was cold enough. It was a matter of Mandy toying with the situation, and playing along, pretending that the champagne was a little warm and therefore calling back the waiter and giving him a lash with the rose. Just a scene of a few seconds - but which clearly stands out in my memory.

Another scene I enjoyed was in the court room, when Mandy says her famous words "Well he would, wouldn't he", when the prosecutor referred to Lord Astor saying he denied ever having met Mandy let alone had an affair with her. It has become a standard quote when questioning someone's credibility. Even in legal terms ("Mandy Rice-Davis Applies").

Sexy is always good in my opinion, and not just in the movies.

I have three favorite scenes.

One- Where Christine goes to Profumo's house for a dinner party and stares at the ice penis in the center of the table.

Two- Where she and Mandy "get down" for some watching dude..only, they cannot stop laughing.

Three- Mandy can't find her top and during the "native american" number, she dances topless LOL

The film is sexy because with the exception of the over-hyped orgy scene..most things are implied or suggested..i love the scene where Christine and Mandy are in bed together faking sex..and they cant stop laughing..it makes me smile everytime..and when they both get ready to the music of the Shadows..a classic scene for a classic and much under-rated movie..

Speaking about implied sex or foreplay - I liked her little seduction of the Russian guy in the car. Exposing a little leg, inviting him up for "tea" ...

You know me. I'm just like you. It's two in the morning and I don't know nobody.

Watching this for the second time, on the recommendation of an acquaintance. Not sure why I avoided it all these years. One man's eroticism is another man's ennui, I guess. A number of (male) friends who saw this in its original release cautioned that it was boring. I found it pretty intriguing and very sexy. (Case in point, Whalley and Fonda going out for the evening. Jeez, dressing can be as sexy as undressing.) And the dialogue wonderful. Fonda looked sensational and was an acting revelation. And Whalley...stunning. Could have done without the melodramatic music at a few key, well-staged moments, but...

Anyway, yes, sexy in a number of ways.

I think that whole thing that made the Profumo affair sexy in the first place, was not the sex going on between the teenage girls and the aging politicians - its the fact that these guys were prepared to risk everything for a bit of a good time with these girls.
If you read, and believe Christine Keeler's book "The Truth at Last" you see that the sex was only a very small part of the TRUE scandal - what was really going on (espionage during the cold war) was glossed over at the time and the papers were instead full of stories of swingers parties and the bizarre sexual fetishes of these pillars of society(!)
Even if a lot of the film isnt totally accurate - looking at it on its own, its a great film. I agree that the sexiest scene is the one where the are getting ready to "go into battle!" with Apache playing in the background and them donning the stockings and high heels to go on the prowl!

Joanne Whalley and Bridget Fonda are so hot in this...I can understand why a whole govenrment could fall for them.

NO. It's a lot sexy, especially the dressing scene with Apache playing.
