terrific movie...

it will not win awards for best horror flick of all time, or even the best slasher, but I love this movie. there are so many worse horror films, and it is just a good guilty pleasure film. probably is the last slasher who-dun-it film of the 80's, and I thought it really was one of the better ones. pamela ludwig is just flat out pretty and sexy, and the rest of the cast while they are not award winners, are still pretty good. go and get this film, while aout of print on vhs and dvd, can easily be had on ebay and amazon zshops(sellers who sell new and used cd's, vhs and dvd's, and books) .

Actually, this isn't a bad movie at all. it has more a real story to it that it just being a slasher film. I bought it for 2$ at the Warehouse used, and I actually really liked it.

It is a good movie to watch to be honest with you. That is not a bad deal for $2.00! WOW That in my opinion is a real steal or bargain you know for a great movie like this.

I think if you compare Rush Week to, oh say...the slashers made between 1978-1985, it will seem unremarkable. But considering the dry run the genre had in 1989, Rush Week was ok for itself. Love the end decapitation, but I felt it was a bit too light-hearted.

For 1989 slashers, it's not as good as Intruder or Hell High, and hell, Moon Stalker was more fun, but it is miles above crap like Offerings and Cutting Class.

It's not that great as a slasher, and sometimes this feels more like a campus melodrama than a horror film, but I was never bored. 6/10 stars from me.

It was an alright movie but the lack of on screen kills was a letdown. I mean, if you're watching a slasher you should expect to see some action on the screen. Instead this was the old "cut away at the last second while the woman screams" act. Give me a good giallo over this movie any day.
