Any 'hippies' or acid-heads see this?

I'm to young to be a hippie, but I did my fair share of psychotropics back in the day. Did anyone else find the opening segment hilarious? I have FOND MEMORIES of my Mother walked in my room whilst my friend and I were tripping hard-core. We both looked at each other and laughed because she looked a giant potato head! When I saw this movie years later, it brought that particular trip (my first) back all the way. Great scene from an under-rated (a 4?) movie.
(WHY isn't this on netflix??????)
