What happened to AutoWorld, The Hyatt..... PLZ HELP!!

What happened to AutoWorld, The Hyatt and that other shopping centre that had just been opened and all went bankrupt? Were they bulldozed? Reopened?? Thanks!!

I really need to know this for my college assignment, if anyone could help, that would be much appreciated :) :)

Thanks!

I believe that shopping center was bought out by UM-Flint and no idea about the other stuff. Do a search though and it'll come up. I actually found info on AutoWorld recently but don't have the link readily avaliable.

AutoWorld was imploded and now is the site of University of Michigan - Flint's Library and research buildings. The Hyatt is still there.

Actually that building is not the Hyatt anymore nor has it been for over a decade. It is now called the Character Inn and it is a hotel set up for Christians and Christian activity's. There is no alchohol allowed in the building and other rules of that nature. It is actually pretty strange.

AutoWorld.... ah ha ha ha... the best answer to Flint's problems. Good going Blanchard.

AutoWorld has been destroyed. It's now the site of the new White Science building for UM Flint. The Hyatt is now the "Character Inn." (They're sure to go bankrupt, I hope, then UM Flint can FINALLY offer student housing). Water Street Pavilion is now owned by UM Flint, too. Windmill Place is totally out of business and sold part of it's property for that Rally's downtown to be built.

They tore down autoworld a long while ago. The Hyatt is the Character Inn and they just resold it so I dont know what it is, I believe it's still a religous hotel though. Any other questions? I live in Flint, yes you can feel sorry for me.

I respect Flint and the people who live there. It's a very proud city, just like Detroit and my home town of Cleveland, OH! The only people who make fun of these cities are the ones who have never actually been here. If they grew up here, they'd know it's a well-kept secret with affordable homes and friendly people.
